Compound Nevus

Compound Nevus

Description : Compound nevi may be either skin-colored or pigmented and are usually elevated above the surrounding skin. They may be dome-shaped or polypoid. The histologic features of compound nevi combine the characteristics of junctional and intradermal nevi.

The raised, pigmented lesion present on the superior border of the tragus was a compound nevus.
